I'm Getting Ready For Christmas!

I had such a great time running and jumping around in the first snowfall in Santa Fe that I needed a rest... fun, fun, fun

My Third Frisbee

I have a new purple frisbee.  This is my third one because I chewed the other two so much that they wouldn't fly.  They are fun and they are very delicious!

Finally My First Birthday!

I'm one year old.  I guess that means I'm not a puppy anymore.  They still treat me like a puppy.  What's up with that?

My First Halloween

I decided to be a "Devil Dog" for Halloween.  In Santa Fe I didn't even get one "Trick or Treater" - they probably heard about the "Devil Dog" and were afraid...

My Trip To Ventura, California

I visited Ventura, California where Zack and Andrea live, in the beginning of September.  I had a great time visiting with Belle and one day we went to the beach to fish for surf perch and sharks.

 Andrea, Mom, and Zack are with Belle and me before we started fishing.  I'd never been fishing before and I was really excited. 

I really liked the beach... I might become a La Conchita Beach Boy

There were lots of Sand Crabs.  They crawl around in the surf, but they didn't look very good to eat.

Andrea and Zack caught lots of Surf Perch.  This one looked pretty good, but I wanted to wait for another one.  We didn't catch any sharks that day, but the next day we caught one Thornback Shark and one Shovelnose Guitarfish (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shovelnose_guitarfish).  

This Surf Perch looked delicious and Andrea had to keep me away.  Looks like my regular dog food tonight, too bad...

I had a GREAT trip!

Sometimes after Dad grills chicken there is some left for me.  He makes me sit and stay, then he says "Skippy Come" and I FLY!

Full Tummies

Zack and Andrea took Belle and I for a walk after breakfast.  We had to rest at Federal Park because we had such full tummies as you can see....

I Found This Strange Little Thing On My Walk To The Plaza

We were walking on the Santa Fe Plaza and I found this thing on the ground.  Dad and Uncle Zack told me not to eat it because it would be bad for me.  It must have been a bug because they called it a "roach".  It didn't look like any bug I've ever seen, but I'm a good boy so I didn't eat it.

My New Favorite Toy

I found a new toy which I really like.

But, sometimes it tastes a little strange.

Mom and Dad said that they would buy me a brand new one of my own.

I Found A Cigar

I found a cigar on my walk to the Santa Fe Plaza.  It tasted great, but Mom and Dad took it away and I couldn't keep it.  They said that it was bad for me.  So, don't smoke or eat cigars.

Puppy Kindergarten

I am going to puppy kindergarten on Monday evenings.  They taught me to sit, walk by Mom, and stay.  That's OK, but Mom taught me some great tricks, high 5, high 10, lie down, roll over, crawl, and take a bow.  I'm working on fetch, but it's hard to give the frisbee back to Mom.
